Trying to sleep but it eludes me
Wishing you could see what I see
Thinking of times gone by
Looking at the endless sky
Drifting now into the darkness
Imagination becoming restless
What is this a unicorn
Or a mother starting to mourn
A dragon, an elephant or is it a slug
O no! I dropped my mug
My mind is going crazy I don't know where I am
Colors, circles, sprinkles, swirling
And then bam!
I'm awake
For my own sake
Back to reality
Until my eye lids close and I see...You
